There are enough parking spaces available, but it is recommended that you arrive early, preferably before 8 AM and possibly at 7:30 AM, to secure a parking spot and collect your school tour materials and name tag. Carpooling is encouraged as an option.

Upon arrival, you will find a registration/welcome table set up by OABE, where you can collect your name tags and school tour information. Additionally, OABE leaders will accompany you on the buses and will be available to answer any questions you may have during the tour.

There are separate buses for each strand, and we’ve printed signs for each [Bus 1- Elementary; Bus 2- Middle School; Bus 3- High School]. OABE members will guide you to your bus. For the safety of all participants, no one must drive themselves to each school during the tour. We prioritize the safety of students, staff, and visitors above all else, and by riding the bus, we can demonstrate to the schools that we are following their safety expectations. This will allow everyone to focus on the school tour, ensuring an enjoyable and informative experience while maintaining school safety standards. We appreciate your cooperation.

As part of the school visits program, attendees will have the opportunity to witness a comprehensive overview of the Dual Language school program through a PowerPoint presentation delivered by the principal or a designated school leader. Additionally, visitors will be given a guided tour of multiple DL classrooms, where they can observe firsthand the educational content being taught and view student work proudly displayed in the hallways. We are confident that this experience will be both enjoyable and informative for all participants.
